Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth, the purveyors of The Tugboat Printshop, have given a behind the scenes at their process for their newest print, The Moon.
A beautiful collection of typefaces produced by Monokrom out of Norway. They may not have a huge selection to choose from so far, but the fonts that are currently available for purchase are all very elegantly thought out and each has its own unique characteristics. Im very drawn to Faunus and am trying to find a use for it. It has a great balance of heavy to thin line weights used to create a really interesting visual appeal.
The guys over at Castor (French for beaver) have such a unique view on recycling and repurposing in order to make everyday objects functional and breath new life into them. Take a look for yourself and I’m sure you will find something if not everything compelling, and could easily enjoy a piece or two in your very own office, studio or home.
